Triora bread and other local breads![]() This wide round bread is made with wholegrain flour and is easily recognizable because of the presence of bran on the bottom. It keeps exceptionally well (over a week) and can easily be found throughout the Imperia area. The Carpasina is an unusual bread made of barley, an ingredient that was used in the past because wheat was scarce. This hard bread, which has to be softened in water before it is eaten, originally comes from the small mountain village of Carpasio in Valle Argentina. |
